Head Coach Philip Borde shared his thoughts on the upcoming season, “First and foremost, I just want to give God thanks for the season that we had last year. Throughout the year, I saw a young group overcome many hurdles. The results did not always appear in the wins column, but I did see a group with growth potential.
This season, I am looking forward to seeing this group take another step forward from where we left off in the spring semester. We have a new group of girls joining us, and they are eager to get started. We have a transfer coming in from South Africa, Aashika, that we hope will make an immediate impact with her experience. We also have Angel Camacho coming back, who was on the All-Freshman team last year. We also have a group of high-quality young freshmen who will make an immediate impact across the field. Overall, I am excited to get started and push this team to our maximum potential, God willing.” The Lady Barons are looking to take a step forward from the struggles of last season and prepare for the new campaign.
