The Brewton-Parker Barons kick off the 2025 campaign with the Bear Invitational Tournament hosted by Truett McConnell. The Barons are looking to build off their 11-10 season in which they finished above .500 for the first time since 2010. The Barons head to Cleveland, Georgia, on August 29th to face Tennessee Wesleyan University, Truett Mc-Connell University, and Piedmont University. The Barons then waste no time in kicking off conference play, starting with a home stand on September 5th and 6th, taking on the University of Mobile (Ala.) and Faulkner University (Ala.). The Barons will face each conference opponent in a home-andhome this season, resulting in 16 conference

matches. The Barons are bringing back multiple members of last year's roster—namely Raphaela Felisberto, the Senior setter out of Belo Horizonte- Mina Gerais, Brazil. Raphaela was a key piece of the Baron's success in their 5-1 style of play. The offense was run through her skill, and her 298 assists on the year helped the Barons win games. She averaged 6.62 assists per set, including a single-game high of 52 against Faulkner University (Ala.). The Barons are also bringing back Junior Amme Mobley out of Griffin, Ga. Mobley was a key contributor on defense, winning the Defensive Player of the Week award in the SSAC and finishing the year with 95 total blocks. Mobley's growth from her freshman season to her sophomore season shows her potential to be a dominant force in the Barons' starting rotation. With the addition of new Assistant Coach Marco Macias, a former Mexican National team player, to the coaching staff, the Barons aim to continue developing their existing talent to help them take the next step.

Head Coach Obed Quiles shared his thoughts on the upcoming season. 'We have a lot of new additions from staff to players. We are excited to keep building our program this season. We can't wait to have everyone back on campus and get back to work.' The Barons are looking to take another step in the conference this season, and the path to the conference tournament starts August 29th
