Bible Reading

Citizens in Montgomery, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties will gather at their respective county courthouses on Monday, July 14, to participate in the annual Statewide Bible Reading event. Reading in Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties will begin at 7:14 a.m.; reading in Montgomery County will begin at 7:14 p.m.

Run-Off

Election

Montgomery, Toombs, Treutlen, and Wheeler Counties will host a special run-off election on Tuesday, July 15. Wheeler County voters will cast their ballots for the new Tax Commissioner, while other counties will vote on the Democratic Party Candidate for the District 3 Professional Standards Commission (PSC) race. For more information about polling locations or the election, contact your local Board of Elections office or visit mvp.sos.ga.gov.

Bingo

Bingo will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. every Tuesday during the summer at the Dahlia Event Venue, located at 200 SW Main Street in Vidalia. Cover charge is $20 for ten rounds of bingo.
