The community will be able to get an up-close look at several of the vehicles that help to keep the area running smoothly from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, as the Downtown Vidalia Association hosts the annual Touch-A-Truck event throughout the downtown area.
Downtown Vidalia Association Executive Director Tonya Parker said that the Touch-A-Truck is one of the Association’s most popular summer events, as everyone enjoys getting to learn more about the semi-trucks, ambulances, tractors, school buses, police cars, fire trucks, and more that work around the community. “Kids are able to really get a close look at these vehicles and they are always amazed,” she emphasized. “It’s a really exciting and fun thing to see.”
The free event also features food trucks and vendors for patrons to peruse while walking through the streets.
