Show

The “Stitched Together” Community Fiber Arts Show will remain open to the public until Thursday, May 22, at the Altama Museum of Art and History, located at 611 Jackson Street in Vidalia. The show features locally made and historic pieces.

The gallery is open from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s. For more information, call (912) 537-1911.

Showing

The Montgomery County Public Library, located at 215 South Railroad Avenue in Mt. Vernon, will be showing “Mufasa: The Lion King” at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 17.

This event is free to the public. Attendees should bring a blanket to sit on. For more information, call (912) 583-2780.

Park Closed to Public

Vincent Faison Sr.

Park, located on Ben Mitchell Avenue in Lyons, will be closed for the next several months, as construction crews work to renovate the area.
