VHS STUDENTS SUPPORT SPECIAL OLYMPICS – Vidalia High School Juniors Braylie Davis (right) and Noah Varn (left) recently presented Toombs County Special Olympics Coordinator Elaine Allen (center) with a $1,500 donation towards the local event, which was held on Friday, April 12. Davis and Varn raised the funds through a benefit event that they held last December. The pair also volunteered at the Special Olympics, and helped to ensure all athletes had a memorable and safe experience. PACKED MEETING – Several family members, friends, community members, and former students attended the Montgomery County Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, April 22, as the school auditorium was dedicated to Patricia Dobbins.
