DEPUTY-INVOLVED COLLISION – A Toombs County Sheriff’s Deputy collided with a truck’s trailer while trying to dodge a deer crossing U.S. 280 on Monday night, October 23. No one was injured, and the vehicles were able to be driven to a side street to avoid blocking traffic upon the highway. TRAFFIC LIGHT DOWN – During the collision, the Chevrolet Traverse collided with a Dodge Durango, causing the Durango to hit the traffic light post and the light to fall.
