LETTER TO THE EDITOR…

To the Editor: On behalf of the State Bar of Georgia, I am writing to extend congratulations to Thomas A. Peterson IV of the Law Firm of Tom A. Peterson IV LLC in Vidalia on his appointment by Gov. Brian Kemp to serve as solicitor general for Toombs County.

Mr. Peterson will be well served by his 21 years of experience in the legal profession, including criminal defense, civil litigation, real estate transactions and worker’s compensation law. He also serves as city attorney for Lyons and county attorney for Tattnall County.

By accepting this position, Mr. Peterson demonstrates his continued commitment to serving the public and the justice system. We wish him well in this new capacity of leadership.
