VPD Shuts Down Royalty Lounge

Royalty Lounge LLC has lost their business license after the Vidalia Police Department discovered the operation of an illegal adult entertainment nightclub within the facility on Thursday, April 20.

The Department recently completed a joint investigation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives due to complaints of the operation of an illegal adult entertainment nightclub within the City.

Upon searching the building, officers seized $2,671.02 in cash, a large quantity of marijuana, and a firearm. Royalty Lounge LLC Owner and Operator Quintetta Welsh was charged with Erotic dance establishment regulation and Brown bagging prohibited, which are charges under the Code of Ordinances for the City of Vidalia. The business’s license was also revoked. The Vidalia Police Department would like to extend their gratitude to the Toombs County Sheriff’s Office and Lyons Police Department for their assistance in handling the situation.
