Baby Ezra Christian Powell, age 3 months, of Uvalda, died on Saturday, January 15, 2022, after a sudden illness. His family includes his parents, Cheyenna Garner of Uvalda and Matt Powell of Lyons; his brother, Isaac Powell of Lyons; maternal grandparents, Denny Garner, Sr., and Heather Garner of Lyons, and Natalie Mosley of Vidalia; paternal grandmother, Patsy Powell of Lyons; aunts and uncles, Savannah Beach and Patrick Beach of Uvalda, Denny Garner II, Ashley Garner, Jackson Mosley, Macy Mosley, and Jasmine Wilson, all of Vidalia, and Harley Powell of Lyons; cousins, Jameson Beach of Uvalda, Christian Wilson and Skyyence Wilson of Vidalia, and Jakiyaa Powell of Lyons.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Horton officiating.
