Mrs. Jessie Byrd

Mrs. Jessie Nell Byrd, age 87 of Reidsville, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Mrs. Byrd was born in Toombs County. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Byrd; her parents, Nellie and Buford Williamson; 2 grandsons, Brandon Whitfield and Matthew Harden; and 1 great-grandson, Brantley Bowen.

Survivors include 1 son, Brian Byrd (Teresa); 2 daughters, Susan Wheeler (Curtis) and Lori Thompson (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Christopher, Dillon, Cody Ashley, Brandi, Jessica, Harley, Kasey, Eric, Kenneth (Possum), and DiAnna; and several greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Roberts–Stewart Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Lakeview
