Heritage Routs Peoples

Friday, The Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles headed up North to McDonough to take on the Knights of Peoples Baptist in a Region match up. The Eagles showed up early putting 16 points up in 23 seconds. VHA never slowed down as they had jaw dropping numbers all night. The Eagles had 207 yards of passing, 103 yards of rushing, and a total of 310 yards of offense. The Eagles scored 8 Touchdowns (5 passing and 3 on the ground). The Eagles never saw a 3rd down on offense.

Not only did the Eagles' offense show up, but so did the Eagles' defense. The Eagles only allowed 23 yards of offense, and the Knights only got past the 50-yard line one time all night. The Eagles defeated the Knights with a final score of 70-0.

Head Coach Seth Sitzman had this to say about continued from page

the game, “We needed this. This was good for us after a tough loss a couple weeks ago. That loss made us stronger as a team. We are excited as we have to finish the year out with three more Region games. We will take it week by week and hopefully get better as we chase the Region Championship.”

The Eagles are off this week and will take on Nathaniel Green, next Friday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. for Homecoming.
