RTCA Gets 2 From FPCA

win on Monday of this week over FPCA with a nohitter from pitcher Meredith Durden.

RTCA rolled to an easy win over FPCA on Tuesday of last week. Durden, Emily Edwards and Railee Thomas led the way with 2 RBI's each in the win. Charlee Ely gave up just one hit in the circle. RTCA was in complete control after the first inning as they put 16 runs on the board. They did that with a combination of hits, errors by FPCA and walks. After they had racked up the needed runs to win the game by the run rule after three innings, Head Coach Brian Fitzgerald showed good sportsmanship as he had runners leave the bag early to record outs to help end the inning.

In the second inning RTCA added four more runs as they again tried to limit their damage done. That put RTCA on top 200.

RTCA held in the top of the third to take the win, 20-0 over FPCA. vs. Bulloch

On Thursday the Lady Crusaders fell to Bulloch Academy. Bulloch led the game 1-0 after the first inning, but the RTCA defense held them scoreless over the next three innings.

In the bottom of the fifth Bulloch put three more runs on the board, and then added two more in the sixth inning. That gave Bulloch the win, 6-0 over the Crusaders. vs. FPCA

On Monday of this week Durden threw a nohitter on the way to another big win over FPCA. This time RTCA scored 14 runs in the top of the first inning to take control of the game. They added two more in the second inning on the way to a 16-0 run rule win. This week RTCA will be at Trinity on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
