Mrs. Sharon Baker Bledsoe, age 65, of Vidalia, died on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after an extended illness. Mrs. Bledsoe was a native of Nashville, IN, moving to Lakeland, FL, in the late 1960’s, later moving to Bartow, FL, and graduating from high school there in 1973. She earned an Associate degree in Marketing Management from Tampa College. She was a certified medical assistant, and was Pentecostal by faith. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Martha Michelle Baker; her parents, Martin Clayton Baker and Martha Irene Lucas Baker; and 3 siblings, Bonnie Smith, Dean Baker, and Roger Baker. Her family includes her husband of 46 years, Steve C. Bledsoe, Vidalia; 3 children, Linda Grimes and husband Richard, Vidalia, Angie Luke and fiancé J.R. Fields of the Cobb Creek Community, and Anthony Bledsoe and wife Megan of the Center Community; 6 siblings, Gloria Weeks and husband Milton, Kathy Blankenship and husband Stanley, Linda Collins and husband Mark, Larry Baker and wife Linda, Sheila Mussellwhite, and Roger Baker, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kortney, Brandon and wife Mikayla, Trevor and wife Jade, Ashton, Karson, Presley, Austin and wife Brittany, Cayden, Lil Ricky, Addy, Colton, and Owen; 2 great-grandchildren, Colton and Elijah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
