Survivors include his fiance, Shontel Wimberly, Warner Robins; his father, Dwayne Day, Mt. Vernon; 2 brothers, Dwayne Day, Jr., Atlanta, and Trey Day, Mt. Vernon; 1 sister, Andrea Day, Dallas; 2 sons, Keelen Day, Hazlehurst, and Lieghton Day, Mt. Vernon; and 1 daughter, Karmyn Day, Baxley.

A graveside funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., in St. Mary Cemetery in Ailey. Rev. Ron Day gave the eulogy.
