Mrs. Mary L. Adams Johnson, ….

Mrs. Mary L. Adams Johnson, age 69, of Glenwood, died on Saturday, April 17, 2021, in Meadows Health in Vidalia after an extended illness. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Ft. Pierce, FL, and lived there until she moved to Glenwood in 2010. She nursed at Lawnwood Medical Center in Ft. Pierce for many years. She was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Thaddieus Johnson; 1 grandson, Travis Laskowitz; her parents, Newton Adams and Edna Louise Guy Adams; 2 sisters, Loretta Milton and Dorothy Jandreau; and 3 brothers, William “Billy” Adams, Ronald Adams, and Harry “Grizz” Adams.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Hope Laskowitz and husband Ron of East Dublin, and Susan Johnson and husband James of Glenwood; 1 sister, Jerri Lombardi of Ft. Pierce; 2 grandchildren, Cheyenne S. Johnson and husband Chase, and Shane T. Johnson, and 1 great-grandson, Collin River Strickland, all of Glenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held later in Ft. Pierce. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL. 34997.
