Mr. Mitchell Cook

Mr. Mitchell Cook, age 55, of the Gray’s Landing Community, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from injuries received in an accident near his home.

Mr. Cook was a native of Toombs County and lived in Gray’s Landing most of his life. He attended Toombs Central School and was a roofer, carpenter and mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd E. Cook; and 2 brothers, Lewis Ritchell Cook and Lynn Cook.

Survivors include 1 son, Eric S. Cook; his mother, Linda Cook; 1 brother, Glenn Cook and wife Crystal, all of Gray’s Landing; 2 sisters, Lisa Yawn of Baxley and Diane Cook of Hazlehurst; and 2 grandchildren, Michael Smith and Peyton Cook.

There will be no service.
