National Championship This Week At Brazell’s Creek

It is going to be a big week at the newly minted Jack Hill State Park, formally Gordonia- Alatamaha, in Reidsville as Brazell's Creek Golf Course hosts the 2020 US FootGolf National Championship. This is part of the American FootGolf League and Tour (AFGL). There will be dozens of professional players in town for the event, and the public is welcome to come out and take a look at this unique sport.

This Championship will have four divisions with Men, Women, Senior, and Club represented at Brazell's Creek.

Robert Greer, the course superintendent in Reidsville, is also the National Director of the AFGL and is the host of this big event. This will bring lots of new people to our community and will show off what Tattnall and Toombs counties have to offer.

There will also be activities for the public on Thursday through Sunday as they will have competitions on the driving range with proceeds going to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

The U.S FootGolf National Championship 2020 is a 500 point AFGL tournament and a 500 point Region 1 tournament. This is a AFGL Tour event and requires a Country and FIFG World Tour license in order to participate.

Rounds will be played every day in the morning and afternoon. Come out and support this unique event in our community and head over to the driving range to take part in helping out a worthy cause and learning a bit more about this sport while you are there.
