Mr. Ronnie Brantley

Ronnie Lamar Brantley, age 66, died on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at his residence surrounded by family.

Mr. Brantley was born in Dublin. He was the owner of Brantley Plumbing and Electrical for 25 years, where he was a state licensed plumber and electrician, and retired in 2019. He was an independent contractor as an inspector for various insurance companies. He was a member of Poplar Springs United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Martin Lamar Brantley and Eugenia Smith Brantley Bracewell, and 2 sisters, Betty McDonald and

Sharon Mullis. Survivors include his wife, Jan Hutcheson Brantley of Adrian; 1 son, Shannon J. (Frannie) Brantley of Vidalia; 2 daughters, Trixie R. (Jamey) Scott of Adrian and Cherri N. (Johnathan) Johnson of Swainsboro; 1 brother, Autry (Barbara Ann) Brantley of Wrightsville; 2 sisters, Linda Hadden of Swainsboro and Nan (Tony) Fusinato of Kathleen; and 8 grandchildren, Jaron Scott, Braden Scott, Colton Scott, Haygen Brantley, Kayden Brantley, Brogen Brantley and Nathan Tucker Johnson, Emma Grace Scott.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., at Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, with Rev. Mark Hardin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery Pallbearers were Carl Green, Gene Green, John Webb, Wade Webb, Tommy Webb, and Todd Webb.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in memory of Mr. Brantley to Poplar Springs United Methodist Church Building Fund, C/O Barbara Webb, Hwy. 86, Adrian, GA 31002.

Stanley Funeral Home and Crematory/Dublin Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
