The Vidalia High School soccer programs delivered a commanding performance on their home turf last Thursday, securing a pair of decisive shutout victories over the visiting Bryan County Redskins.

Girls vs. Bryan Co.

In the opening matchup, the Lady Indians took control early and never let off the gas, rolling to a comprehensive 6-0 victory over the Lady Redskins. The win provides a solid momentum boost for the girls, moving their overall record to an impressive 9-3 on the season as they look to improve upon their 1-2 standing in Region play.

Boys vs. Bryan Co.

The Vidalia boys followed suit in the nightcap, keeping the pressure on to easily put away the Bryan County defense en route to an 8-0 rout. Finding the back of the net with consistency, the Indians improved to 7-5 overall and they are 1-1 in Region play.

Both squads faced a quick turnaround this week with a road trip to take on cross-county rival Toombs County on Tuesday, with results unavailable at presstime. The Indians will return to the friendly confines of their home stadium this Friday to host the Savannah Christian Raiders, with the opening kick scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
