The Lady Greenwave led 3016 by the end of the third quarter and cruised to a 59-32 victory.
Nikita James led the scoring for Wheeler once again, putting up 21 points in the contest. The loss marks the end of the Lady Bulldogs' season, finishing with an even overall record of 13-13.
Boys vs. Trion
The Wheeler boys kicked off their postseason campaign with a hard-earned victory over the Trion Bulldogs in the first round. In a tightly contested battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats from tip-off to the final buzzer, Wheeler ultimately prevailed, claiming a 59-51 win.
Boys vs. Early Co.
The momentum continued into the second round as the Bulldogs squared off against the Bobcats of Early County. In yet another nail-biter, Wheeler showcased their resilience and ability to close out tight games, edging past the Bobcats 60-56 to secure their spot in the quarterfinals.
