Vidalia Youth Cheer Campers Invited to Join Season Opener Pregame!

Local youth cheerleaders are getting ready to shine under the Friday night lights as the Vidalia Indians prepare to kick off their 2025 football season. Following a successful 2025 Vidalia Youth Cheer Camp that saw 80 spirited participants, the young athletes are invited to join the pregame festivities for the season opener against the Long County Blue Tide this Friday, August 15, at Buck Cravey Field.

The VHS camp, which focused on learning cheers, chants, band dances, and Indian traditions, was a hit with the 5 to 11-year-old campers. Their hard work and enthusiasm will be on full display as they take part in the pregame show.

For those participating, the schedule is as follows: Tailgating: 6:00 p.m.; War Path: 7:00 p.m.; Pre Game: 7:10 p.m.; Kick off: 7:30 p.m.

Campers should arrive at the Cheer Room by 6:00 p.m., dressed in their Spirit Speedway Cheer Camp Tshirt and black shorts. This special T-shirt will also serve as their ticket into the game. All other attendees are reminded that Vidalia High School events are now cashless, and tickets must be purchased online in advance at GoFan.com.
