Vidalia Swim Heads To State

The Vidalia Recreation Department Swim Team will travel to Moultrie this Thursday, in preparation for the GRPA State Swim Meet to be held at Memorial Pool of the Moultrie-Colquitt Recreation Department.

Preliminaries will be held on Friday, July 11. The top eight from each event will compete again on Saturday for finals and state awards.

The following swimmers make up this year’s state competition team: Presley Goss, Virginia Meredith, Autumn Moore, Easton Moore, Isabella Morgan, Miranda Morgan, Sam Parker, James Ray, Jackson Tomlin, Jacob Tomlin, Jillian Tomlin, Gracy West, Aubree Zorn, and Mason Zorn. They are under the leadership of Head Coach Conley Brown and assistant coaches Kensley Davis, Autumn Moore and Anthony Underwood. We wish them the best of luck as they represent their team and compete against some of the best swimmers from across the state.
