VRD Hosts Annual Swim Meet

On Saturday of last week, the Vidalia Swim Team hosted their annual VST Invitational at the Vidalia Aquatics Center. The team performed very well, earning 1st place as a team, as well as having a number of high points winners.

In the Girls 8U age division, Presley Goss earned 1st place and Meredith Thigpen earned 2nd Place. In the 9-10 age division, Isabella Morgan earned 1st place for the girls and Jacob Tomlin placed 2nd for the boys. In the 11-12 age division, Virginia Meredith earned 2nd place for the girls and Easton Moore placed 1st for the boys.

Aarrao Underwood earned 2nd place in the boys 13-14 age division. In the Girls 15-18 Division, Autumn Moore placed 2nd.

Overall, the team had a great showing with lots of personal best times. They will compete at their District Meet on Friday, June 27, in Statesboro.
