Crusaders Over Citizens Christian

The Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders basketball teams took on Citizens Christian Academy at home on Friday of last week with the boys picking up a win and the girls falling. Then on Monday of this week at the Deerfield Windsor Christmas Tournament the boys suffered their first loss of the season to the host team.

Girls vs. CCA

The RTCA Lady Crusaders kept the score close in the first half against a good CCA team. But in the second half of the game the Lady Patriots pulled away on the way to a 56-34 win.

It has so far been a tough season for the Lady Crusaders as they are now 1-7.

Boys vs. CCA

The boys had an easy time with CCA as they led the game 22-6 in the second quarter. With 3:30 left in the half it was 29-12. RTCA was on top 3721 early in the third, but they pushed that to a 50-28 lead later in the period.

In the fourth RTCA went on to win the game 70-46.

The RTCA boys were taking part in the Deerfield Windsor Christmas Tournament on Monday and Tuesday of this week after presstime, and will be back in action after the Christmas holiday.
