THE LORD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME BY GARY TOOLE When I was born mama was sick but she brought me into this world and the lord has been good to me. He gave me a Christian home with two loving caring parents and the lord has been good to me. He provided for our needs and the lord has been good to me. I loved going to school and church and what a wonderful time and a wonderful life and the lord has been good to me. When I was just a boy Jesus saved me and the lord has been good to me. I fell in love as a young boy with a beautiful blue eyed brunette and the lord has been good to me. He taught me to be a writer and the lord has been good to me. When I backslid and went out in sin the lord loved me and the lord has been good to me. Guarding and guiding and seeking me. The lord has been good to me. Through dangers on every hand. The lord has been good to me. Near death so many times. The lord has been good to me. Good health through it all. The lord has been good to me. Through hardships and heartaches and despair, the lord has been good to me. Leading me by still waters, He restored my soul. The lord has been good to me. Bringing a loving, caring, hard working very wise and smart young lady into my life. The lord has been good to me. Why He cared so much for me. I wonder why! Oh I know. The lord has been good to me. In my later years the lord has been good to me. And in all my life as I turned from Him and let Him down the lord has still been good to me. I owe Him my life, my soul, my all, my everything. Oh the lord has been good to me. Going and doing His work anywhere and everywhere and proclaiming His holy name with a smile on my face, love for the lord in my heart, good health, a song in my heart, a testimony on my lips and a pep in my step. Yes folks, let me tell you now. I don’t know about you but the lord God and Jesus His son has surely been good to me. Psalms 100:5. So I can say amen! PD. ADV.
