A Frightful & Fun Halloween with the Fudgy Chocolate Graveyard Pie Azure Rountree Fun, Delicious and Festive When the pumpkins rise up this Hallows’ Eve, And the spooky ghosts moan for all to hear and see. May magic fill the air on this frightfully fun night, As you get lots of treats that will fill you with delight! Fudgy Chocolate Graveyard Pie has completely melted, then remove from heat. Stir in the sugar, then the flour. Quickly stir in the eggs and then the vanilla extract. Pour the mixture into the pie shell. 1 frozen Regular Pie Shell (thawed) 1 stick Margarine (1/2 cup) (cubed) 3 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder 1 cup Sugar ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour 2 large Eggs (beaten) 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies Chocolate filled Oreo’s (crushed) Festive Halloween Sprinkles Ghost Peeps Black Food Gel or Black Edible Pens Candy Pumpkins and Candy Corn Let pie shell sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to thaw. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan and over medium heat, combine the margarine and the cocoa powder. Stir together until margarine Bake on the 3rd (middle) rack for 35 minutes or until the center is set. Remove pie from the oven and let cool completely. Once the pie has cooled, make small slits in the pie with a knife. Using a black edible pen or black food gel that has been placed in a plastic freezer bag or pastry bag, cut a small slit in it and pipe “RIP” or “BOO” on the cookies. Once the gel has dried, insert the cookies into the slits to make gravestones. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo’s in front of the gravestones, then add some festive sprinkles on top of the graves. Using the food gel, pipe some of it on the bottom of the ghost peeps, then place them on the pie. Add pumpkin candies and candy corn, then sprinkle some additional crushed Oreo’s all over the pie.
