Bids must be submitted on a preapproved forin which may be requested from Assistant Superintendent, Brian Barnhill (912 583-2301, ext. 210), or School Board Attorney, Daniel J. The Board reserves the right to reject all bids, and the winning bidder must demonstrate an ability to pay the winning bid amount within five (5) business days of said bid being accepted. Failure to pay the purchase price within five (5) business days of the announcement of the winning bid shall entitle the Board to consider the next highest bid. For additional information about the property being sold or to request an opportunity to inspect the property, contact Assistant Superintendent, Brian Barnhill, The Board approved said invitation for sealed bids at its regular open board meeting on August 22, 2022, after determining that the best interests of the students and school system would be served by selling the House and retaining the underlying real estate, said House not being necessary for the purposes of the school system.
