SEWAGESPILLNOTICE The City of Vidalia experienced sewer overflows due to excessive water flow in the sewers due to substantial rain at the following locations: N Maple Dr near Lift Station #2, Pleasure Ct. near Lift Station # 26, and Barksdale Dr near Lift Station # 6. The area of the spill occurred in three locations and was cleaned and limed following the incident and approximately 33,950 total gallons spilled with a portion reaching a tributary of little Rocky Creek. The Toombs County Health Department the GA EPD, and the media have been notified of the spill.
