THE OLD ANTENNA BY GARY TOOLE I was reminded of this by this song leader in this church when she told the young folks about years ago with television we had an antenna and if that antenna was laying on the ground you could not pick up doodaley squat. But then you raised it up and high up then you could pick up a lot of stations. As she said, “So it is with the lord God!” If we raise our hands humbly and lift our hands and heart toward heaven then we can get some results. When we surrender our lives to him and give Him honor and glory and we live according to His principles and we have totally committed our all to Him then we will hear from heaven and we can ring those prayer bells in heaven and we can hear from God. When praises go up, then blessings come down. Many people sit arrogantly and defiantly and will not raise their hands to Jehovah God and lift their voices of praise to Jesus the king of kings and lord of lords and they come burdened and go home burdened because they will not yield themselves and get out of the way and let go and let God have His way in their life. You see God ain’t looking for perfect because their ain’t none. He is looking for the humble and the willing. Willing to give up everything to serve Christ or at least be willing. So like we raised that old antenna on a metal pole or with a pole we cut out of the woods but by raising it and being turned into the right frequency then we got see clearly and we could hear clearly and so with the lord, when we recognize Him and get on the spiritual line then we can see and hear spiritually speaking. So there you go! So many religions and cults and programs created by man and not God will go through these rituals that are worthless and they do not recognize the true and living Jehovah and His son Jesus Christ then their prayers are in vain and don’t go no further than the ceiling because their so called higher power is powerless because there is no other way to heaven than through and by Jesus Christ, our lord and savior. Can you say amen? PD. ADV.
